Thomas ‘Tom’ Quinlan, age 77, and his wife Elizabeth ‘Denise’ Quinlan, age 79, of Glasgow passed away on November 21, 2025.
Tom was born April 2, 1948 in Pleasantville, New Jersey to Thomas and Celeste (Kinney) Quinlan. He attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1967.
Denise was born June 20, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Byron and Evelyn (Clark) Campbell. She received her early education at Liceo Franco School in Mexico City, Mexico where she graduated from high school. She attended Radcliff University (Harvard) and graduated in 1968.
Tom and Denise were united in marriage in September of 1972. The couple made their homes in various location throughout the years: Ohio, California, Hawaii, South Dakota and Glasgow, Montana. Denise (retired Colonel, Orthopedic Surgeon) and Thomas both attained their doctorates. Tom followed Denise, as her military career had numerous transfers. They were committed and devout members of the Catholic Church. They loved to travel and explore new and different venues.
Tom was a member of I.B.M. and St. Raphael’s Catholic Church and Denise was a member of both the U.S. Air Force and Army and St. Raphael’s Catholic Church.
Tom is survived by his brother-in-law, William C. Campbell and his family. Denise is survived by her brother, William C. Campbell, seven nieces and nephews, 25 great-nieces/nephews and four great-great-nieces/nephews.
Preceding Tom in death are his parents, Thomas and Celeste, father-in-law Byron Campbell and mother-in-law Evelyn Campbell. Preceding Denise in death are her parents Byron and Evelyn Campbell.
