Terrance Michael Grady, age 71, and a life-long resident of Valley County passed away Monday, Feburary 26, 2019.
Mike was born on August 27, 1947 in Glasgow, MT to Philip and Florence Grady.
Mike served as a Tank Driver in the National Guard. He graduated from technical school in Billings, MT. Mike worked several different construction jobs in the state, including the Bentonite plant south of Glasgow and building pole barns. He worked with his father running the family ranch and later took it over. In his later years Mike worked for the county road department.
He was a man of few words, he loved a good joke. Even though he seemed rough on the outside, he was very tender hearted. His gruff exterior hid a keen mind. He was an avid student of history and his artistic talents included leatherwork and drawing. Mike was devoted to his family and friends. Mike was part of the community of Hinsdale, He helped others when he could and he will be missed.
Mike is survived by his sisters Valerie and Sheila and his brother Arden; his niece Billie and her husband Randy; his nephews Ryley, Brandon and his wife Kirstie, Shannon and his wife Kelly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Florence; his sister Phyllis and his brother Vaughan.
Funeral Services for Terrance “Mike” Grady will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2019 at St. Albert’s Catholic Church in Hinsdale, Montana with a luncheon to follow the Willie Nelson American Legion Post in Hinsdale, Montana. Burial will follow the luncheon at the Grady Family Cemetery north of Hinsdale.
