Nora Zeiger passed away peacefully in her home on January 23, 2026. She is now reunited with the love of her life Terry Bud forever hunting bears and enjoying each other’s company.
Nora Irene (Dalby) Zeiger was born in Glasgow, Montana on October 18, 1944 to Emil Dalby and Almeda “Alma” Elizabeth (Frederick) Dalby. She was the youngest of eight children.
Nora grew up and attended school in Glasgow through the 8th grade. Nora took care of her parents who lived in a house where her garage currently stands until she married Terry Bud Zeiger in 1964 at the age of 20.
Terry and Nora were blessed with three children Danny Mike, Cindy Lou, and Carol Ann. Terry and Nora spent their lives working and raising fur east of Glasgow until their retirement in 2012, where they relocated back to town to the neighborhood in which they both grew up.
Those who knew Nora knew her to be hard working, kind, and fun loving. She loved her grandchildren, her siblings and their families, collecting bears, Bingo, and camping. You could find Nora playing Bingo with her siblings at Nemont Manor and the Senior Citizens’ Center. Nora gained great pleasure “treating” those she loved with candy, food or trinkets. She was thoughtful and always thinking of others. She enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and bear hunting with Terry. At the center of her heart were her grandchildren who, in case you didn’t know, were all perfect and could do no wrong. Nora will be best known for her silly chuckle-laugh which shook her entire body and made those around her smile.
Nora is survived by her three children: Danny Mike (Shantel) Zeiger, Cindy Lou (Dan) Vegge all of Glasgow and Carol Ann (Robert) Stingley of Riverton, Wyoming; five grandchildren: Luke Zeiger, Rachael (Justin) Pattison, and DeAnna Brown (Richard Trathen) all of Glasgow, Trysta (Taryn) Whiteplume of Laramie, Wyoming, and Brady Stingley of Riverton, Wyoming; three great-granddaughters: AryNne Brown of Brownsburrow, Texas, Abby Trathen, Riley Trathen and Mia Pattison all of Glasgow, and a long awaited great-grandson Baby Pattison arriving in the spring; her siblings Cora Canen and John Dalby of Glasgow as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Nora is preceded in death by her husband, Terry; her parents, Emil and Alma Dalby; brothers, Vernon, Alvin, Melvin, and Cecil and sister, Evelyn Mix.
Family will receive friends Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Bell Mortuary from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, January 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary with burial to follow in Highland Cemetery.
