A celebration of the life of Hope Marie Jones-Farr, age 65, of Glasgow, Montana, who died on December 18, 2025 at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital will be held on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Elks Club in Glasgow.
She was born December 6, 1960 to Alice Darlene Nelson and Frank Jones Jr. in Glasgow, Montana. She began her education in and graduated from Hinsdale High School before receiving a bachelor’s degree in education from MSU Bozeman where she met her husband Kevin Farr. Hope and Kevin moved to Belgrade where their two sons were born before moving to Glasgow.
She is survived by her husband Kevin Farr, her two sons: Jackson (Andrea) and Keefe (Kate Gordon); her three granddaughters: Kai, Juni, and Adelaide as well as a fourth granddaughter to join us in spring, her brother Roy Jones (Teresa) of Hinsdale, her sister Penny Strommen (Eliot) of Vandalia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews by blood and marriage.
She is preceded in her death by her parents Frank and Darlene, her brother Frank ‘Dusty’ Jones III, and her cousin Frank Jensen.
She was a life-long learner and educator. A kind, empathetic, and often blunt woman, she was never afraid to share her opinion or give a kind word to a friend. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Any who wish to join us in celebration and mourning are encouraged to attend.
