Gary Wayne Tihlarik, age 64, of St. Marie, Montana, passed away in Billings, Montana on June 10, 2026.

Gary was born November 15, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph J. and Ione (McAllister) Tihlarik. He attended high school at Mortin East and joined the Army.

Gary married Linda on August 8, 2003 in Batavia, Illinois and the couple made their home in St. Marie, Montana. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Glasgow, Montana.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ione. He is survived by his wife, Linda Tihlarik; children: Gary Tihlarik Jr., Joseph Tihlarik, and Jennifer Tihlarik; a step-daughter, Tanya Silvestry; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and his siblings: Patrick Tihlarik, Mike (Terri) Tihlarik, Robert Tihlarik and Mary (Leroy) Rosales.

A celebration of life will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Assembly of God Church in Glasgow, Montana with Pastor Tom Fauth officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois.
