Dorma Elaine Kline

Dorma "Elaine" Kline passed away at the age of 84 on March 1, 2026 in Glasgow, Montana. Elaine was born in Chester, Montana on November 18, 1941 to Paul and Dorma (Heydon) Johnson. Elaine grew up in Joplin, Montana and graduated from Joplin High School in 1960. She married Dick Kline on December 30, 1960. They had two children, Brenda Younkin and Bodell Miller; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She and Dick lived briefly in Texas while Dick served in the Army. Her first daughter Brenda was born there. After Dick was discharged from the Army they lived in both Great Falls, Montana where she got her beauticians license and Havre, Montana while Dick attended college to become a teacher. They eventually ended up making their home in Nashua, Montana. Their youngest daughter was born right after they moved to Nashua. Summers in the late 60s and early 70s were spent in Rudyard, Montana enjoying time with relatives.

Elaine had three brothers: Stanley (Bonnie) Johnson, Duane (Jean) Johnson, Calvin (Candy) Johnson, and one sister, Elva (Fred) Elling.

Elaine was proceeded in death by her parents Paul Johnson and Dorma Hadford, and brothers Stanley Johnson and Duane Johnson.

Elaine always put her family first and was the best wife, mom, grandma, and sibling. She was a stay at home mom and housewife most of her life and enjoyed cooking and baking. She also loved to play games, cards, and always enjoyed her bowling night.

After her girls left home she found a later in life career working at Gordon’s Foods/Reynolds. She enjoyed working there and interacting with customers.

She is survived by her husband Dick Kline, her children Brenda (Joe) Younkin and Bodell (Brad) Miller; her grandchildren: Brandi Allen, Tarin (Ryan) Shilhanek, Miles Miller, and Mikayla Miller, her great-grandchildren: Gavin Gundermann, Tahlia Allen, Tavin Shilhanek, Elena Shilhanek, and Olivia Shilhanek. As well as brother, Calvin (Candy) Johnson, sister, Elva (Fred) Elling, and sister-in-law, Bonnie Johnson along with several nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed every single day.
